Boca Raton Community High School Pool

School District of Palm Beach County

Design Build construction delivery project for only the second pool in the Palm Beach County School District system. The project was completed in early 2011 at a cost of approximately $3.5M.

The facility features a 50-meter pool, 250-seat bleachers, a scoreboard, lighting and a building with restrooms, showers and storage.

As with many other existing school campus addition projects this site was limited in size and required close coordination of new and existing utilities specifically water mains and storm drainage.

In addition BTE worked closely with the Mechanical Engineer and Pool Equipment designer to ensure that critical pool facilities such as a permanent dewatering system were well coordinated.
